Jackson County High School encourages all parents and guardians to download two essential apps to stay informed and connected throughout the school year.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal provides access to student grades, attendance, schedules, and notifications.
ParentSquare is our main communication tool for school updates, teacher messages, and important district information.
Both apps are available for Apple and Android devices and are important tools for supporting your student’s success at JCHS.

To help create a focused, engaging learning environment, JCHS will follow a new personal device policy beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. Students should turn off all personal electronic devices and store them in their book bags from the first bell to the final bell.
This includes cell phones, smartwatches, personal laptops and tablets, headphones, earbuds, Meta glasses, and other connected devices. Parents who need to reach their student during the school day may contact the JCHS front office.
Thank you for your support as we work together to make each school day productive and successful!
Before the first day of school, please make sure your Chromebook is ready to use. All returning students in grades 9–12 should have a Chromebook assigned to them.
Check for damage. Submit an Incident IQ ticket through Clever if you need help.
Check your charger. Make sure it is working properly and does not have any loose or frayed wires. If you need help, submit an Incident IQ ticket through Clever.
Clean your Chromebook. Turn it off, wipe it with a Clorox wipe, and dry it with a paper towel. Remove all stickers and writing.
Bring your fully charged Chromebook and charger on the first day of school.
Thank you to all our rising 9th graders and their families who joined us for Panther Preview on Tuesday, July 21! We enjoyed welcoming the Class of 2030 to JCHS.
Those who were unable to attend can access the Panther Preview materials at this link.
As we prepare for the upcoming 2026-27 school year, the Jackson County School System is once again excited to announce we will be hosting a School Supply Giveaway on Wednesday, July 29. This event will provide free book bags and school supplies for elementary, middle and high school students. The giveaway will be held from 8 to 10 a.m., or while supplies last, and will be located at the front entrance to the Empower College and Career Center gymnasium at 1952 Winder Highway, Jefferson, GA 30549.
The JCHS Beta Club is hosting a School Supply Drive to help support our students as we begin a new school year. Families are invited to bring donations to Open House on July 27.
Supplies may be dropped off at the JCHS Cafeteria during Open House. Needed items include tissues, Expo markers, markers, colored pencils, sharpened pencils, paper towels, Clorox wipes, highlighters, Sharpies, and hand sanitizer. Thank you for your generosity and support!
