Students who are new to Dual Enrollment and interested in getting started are invited to attend one of the upcoming Dual Enrollment Information Sessions. These sessions will cover important information about the Dual Enrollment process, requirements, and next steps.
Students planning to participate in Dual Enrollment must attend at least one information session. See the graphic for session dates, times, and additional details.

Junior Leadership Jackson is an eight-month leadership program for juniors and seniors. Participants will develop leadership skills, explore local government and public service, build relationships, and take part in community-focused field trips and learning opportunities.
Students can complete the online application or scan the QR code on the flyer.

AP Exam registration is now open for students enrolled in Fall and Full-Year AP courses.
Important Dates:
November 1: Last day to register without a late fee
November 2–6: A $40 late fee will apply
November 6: Registration closes
Spring semester AP courses will register next semester.

Complete your registration and payment through Total Registration.
AP Exam Fee Waivers
Students who receive Free or Reduced Lunch may qualify for an AP Exam fee waiver. Be sure to indicate this during registration so eligibility can be verified.
Students taking their first STEM AP Exam in Math, Science, or Computer Science may also qualify for a fee waiver.

Students who register will receive an AP highlighter and will be invited to a special event the week before AP Exams featuring food, prizes, and more!

Mark your calendars for the JCHS Fall Festival Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, October 27 from 5:00–7:00 PM!
We’re looking for groups, clubs, teams, staff, and community members to help make the evening extra fun by decorating a trunk and handing out treats. If you’d like to participate, please sign up by October 9.

Last week, a representative with the University of North Georgia admissions visited Mr. Brooks' Lit IV classes. Students learned more about what UNG offers, and had the opportunity to apply to UNG for free!

Interested in healthcare, leadership, and serving your community? HOSA gives students opportunities to explore healthcare careers, build valuable skills, participate in hands-on activities, and strengthen leadership experience that can benefit you beyond high school.

National Assessment Day is Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Juniors and seniors (11th and 12th grade) have the opportunity to choose the assessment that best supports their college and career goals. Please review the available assessment options and complete registration by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Freshmen and sophomores are already registered for the PSAT, so no additional registration is needed.
We encourage all juniors and seniors to review their options and make their selection by the deadline.
