During the event, JCHS students will be able to “shop” for new or gently used clothing—completely free! We’re now collecting donations of clothing in all sizes (children through adult), so if you’re cleaning out your closets, we’d love to give your items a second life with our students.
Donations accepted at the JCHS front office through November 26.
Thank you so much for supporting our students and helping make this event a success!
Panthers in the Patch🎃
Students from Ms. Townley’s, Ms. Sharpton’s, Ms. Harris’s, and Mr. Son’s classes spent a fun-filled day at Washington Farms! They met friendly farm animals, took a hayride through the fields, and enjoyed all the hands-on fall activities the farm has to offer. It was a wonderful day of learning, laughter, and pumpkin patch adventures!
Work Based Learning Spotlight
Jackson County High School senior Jackson Miller is a second-year participant in the Work-Based Learning (WBL) program, gaining hands-on experience at Kubota Manufacturing of America in Jefferson, Georgia. Because Jackson completed most of his graduation requirements between eighth and eleventh grade, he is able to dedicate three class blocks each semester to his WBL placement throughout the school year.
He has already completed a CTAE pathway in Horticulture and is on track to finish Agricultural Mechanics as well. Alongside his technical studies, Jackson has taken multiple AP and Honors courses and pursued his passion for music through the Band Fine Arts Pathway. Known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and dedication, Jackson continues to be an outstanding representative of the JCSS Work-Based Learning program.
