Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony
We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Jackson County High School Commencement Ceremony will be held at the new, state-of-the-art Akins Ford Arena in Athens on Saturday, May 17, beginning at 10 a.m.
In planning to honor our 478 graduates of the Class of 2025, we sought a venue off our JCHS campus that could enhance the experience for both graduates and their families. After careful consideration, we selected the Akins Ford Arena for the following reasons:
Increased guest capacity to ensure more family members and friends can attend and share in this important occasion.
Ample parking to provide a smooth arrival and departure experience for all attendees.
Comfortable, climate-controlled environment that allows everyone to celebrate each graduate regardless of outdoor weather conditions.
Improved sight lines to bring families closer to the stage and ensure that each graduate’s moment is clearly visible.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with the Class of 2025 and their families in this outstanding new facility in May. For additional information about the venue, please visit Akins Ford Arena’s website. Thank you for your continued support as we plan a memorable ceremony for all.
