Work-Based Learning Spotlight
JCHS senior Ella Cobb is gaining hands-on experience as a Human Resources Intern at TICA/TACG in Pendergrass, Georgia, through her WBL placement. As a Toyota company, TICA/TACG employs hundreds of Jackson County residents and specializes in manufacturing vehicle heating and air compressors for cars and trucks. Given the company's size, the Human Resources Department plays a crucial role in recruitment, training, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement. Ella was an ideal candidate for the position, thanks to her leadership as JSLT president and her strong communication, critical thinking, and management skills.
