Help Stock the JCHS Clinic!

Our JCHS Clinic is in need of some supplies for our students. We're asking for your help in donating the following items:

Juice boxes
Individually wrapped snacks
Cleaning wipes
Small drinking cups (3oz)
Deodorant (men's & women's)
Chapstick
Regular size and small band-aids
Small cans or bottles of ginger ale
Individually wrapped peppermints
Small tissue packs

Donations can be dropped off at the JCHS Front Office. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Senior Meeting

Attention Seniors:

Celebrating Our Legacy Youth Mentors: Supporting Student Success at JCHS

Jackson County High School is proud to partner with Legacy Youth Mentoring and is deeply grateful for the incredible impact our mentors have on our students! We truly appreciate everything they do to support our students and help them thrive. Recently, our mentors gathered to learn about high school schedules, meet new counselors, and receive a warm welcome from school administration. After breakfast, they connected with their students—many of whom they’ve mentored since elementary or middle school. We’re excited for the year ahead! Jackson County High School Work-Based Learning

Kubota Manufacturing of America in Jefferson, Georgia, is one of our longstanding Work-Based Learning (WBL) partners. Kubota provides WBL opportunities in manufacturing/assembly, warehousing/distribution, engineering, information technology, and welding. This week, JCHS seniors Finley McCaa, Gabriel Gallagher, Jonah Hunsinger, and junior Jackson Miller accepted job offers from the company.

Eli Avrett and Jordan Starling are the JCHS Student Athletes of the Week, sponsored by Takeuchi.

Eli kicked off his high school career with a blistering 17:19 5k race, while Jordan shaved an astounding 1:34 off of her personal best from last year, a testament to her work this summer.
