Save the date! Jackson County High School Underclassmen Awards Night (9th-11th grades) is scheduled for May 16th in the evening. This event is by invitation only. Notification will be sent in advance to students and families who should attend.

 Jaxco International Festival 

The International Festival is an annual celebration hosted by the International Club, welcoming students and members of Jackson County to immerse themselves in a vibrant tapestry of cultures. We extend a warm invitation to all to join us in honoring the rich diversity within our community!

 Mean Girls #StompOutBullying Dress Up Week 

Join the JCHS Drama as they host a school-wide dress up week to promote Mean Girls and raise money for the anti-bullying organization Stomp Out Bullying. Throughout the week of April 15th-19th the Panther Players will be sharing videos on social media from the cast of Mean Girls as they talk about the anti-bullying message of Mean Girls the musical!

 Modern Language Pathway Cord 

Please read this important information about ordering a Modern Language Pathway cord.

To earn a Modern Language Pathway Cord students must have:

If you think you are eligible for a Modern Language Pathway cord and wish to purchase a cord:

*Note: This cord is different from those awarded by Spanish Honor Society and French Honor Society.

 Cap and Gown Delivery This Friday 

Cap and Gown packages will be distributed on Friday, April 19th. 

 Senior Letters 

Parents, family members, friends, and teachers who wish to send a letter to a senior may do so by mailing it to JCHS by Monday, May 6th.

Letters should be sent to the school at the following address:

2024-25 Tryouts & Important Dates

"Golden Panther" Award

Congratulations to senior Sam Bilyashevych, who was presented this week with the first ever "Golden Panther" Award by our swim program.  This award recognizes Sam's incredible achievement of qualifying for state in EVERY individual and relay event this season, something that has never been done at JCHS!

Panther Soccer Finishes Regular Season STRONG!

Boys Tennis Headed to State

With a tough win over Lanier this week, Boys Tennis is headed to STATE for the 8th season in a row!  They will travel to Alexander on Monday for the first round of the GHSA State playoffs.

Girls Tennis Region 8-AAAAAA Champions

Girls Tennis defeated Gainesville on Friday to win the region 8-AAAAAA championship at Victor Lord Park.  They will host Newnan on Tuesday in the first round of the GHSA state playoffs.

Another PANTHER Commit

A 3 year staple in Lady Panther wrestling program, Anna Skoda, will be continuing her academic and athletic career at Montreat College!
