TRACK SUCCESS AT LOCH JOHNSON INVITATIONAL
Our Panther Track and Field teams performed well at the Loch Johnson invitational at Cedar Shoals this week.
The girls once again took 2nd place, with the 4x200 team of Ava Borah, Alivia Harrell, Jalyn Robinson, and Kamryn Shaw Foreman set a school record in the event.
The boys competed as well and many boys set Personal Records on the day.
BASEBALL 4-1 IN REGION 8-AAAAAA
After defeating Gainesville on Monday, the Panther baseball team had a doubleheader with Lanier on Thursday night at Panther Park.
The Panthers took game 1 in 10 innings (4-3) but dropped the nightcap game. The Panthers are currently tied for second in the region.
HUGE WEEK AHEAD FOR BOTH SOCCER TEAMS
On Tuesday night at Panther Stadium, the Lady Panthers face Habersham Central. A Panther win would almost lock a region championship in region 8-AAAAAA.
The boys team will seek to avenge a 2-1 loss to the Raiders earlier this year. Wins over HCHS and Apalachee this week would all but secure a state playoff berth!
ACADEMIC ALL REGION FOR WINTER SPORTS ANNOUNCED
GOLF OFF TO A GREAT START
Panther Golf is off to a great start so far this season. On Thursday, the girls handled Apalachee, while the boys match ended in a tie. Anna Holley and Jackson Taylor were the low scorers for the Panthers girls and boys teams.
