After a tough, five set loss to North Forsyth this week, volleyball finished the week with wins over Mill Creek, Sequoyah, and Houston County.

On Saturday, they had the opportunity to play at LakePoint against some of the top teams in the state, and finished fifth overall.

The Panthers are now 23-5 on the season.

FOOTBALL

An amazing comeback effort by our Panthers came up just short on Friday night at North Forsyth.

After a close first quarter in a half, the Raiders scored back-to-back touchdowns to end the half.

Our Panthers never gave up, and had a chance to tie the game at the end, but came up just short, 42-35.

This week is HOMECOMING WEEK!

JAXCO CHEER

Jaxco Cheer had a GREAT weekend at Walnut Grove.  Both the JV and Varsity Cheer Cats finished second in the event.

The varsity team had ZERO deductions in their routine, a very encouraging sign for them as the season progresses.

SOFTBALL DEFEATS LANIER

Panther Softball had to reschedule a doubleheader with Gainesville that was supposed to be played on Tuesday.

On Thursday, our Panthers JV and Varsity swept the Lanier Longhorns at Lanier High School.

The JV won their game 21-1, while the varsity rallied in the seventh inning to pick up a 4-3 region win.
