The students have spoken!  The Theme for Prom 2024 is Under the Lanterns!  Stay tuned for prom announcements in the months to come!

 Spread Holiday Cheer 

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer! We're excited about our "North Pole" theme days coming up in December. It's a festive time for students, teachers, and staff to join in the fun, so check out the calendar for all the dress-up theme days throughout the holiday month! 

 Key Club Project 

Panthers, Key Club once again needs your help to help those in need! This time, we are raising funds for the Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes organization which provides housing and support to youth who would otherwise be placed in foster care. Your contributions will help reopen a home that was shut down during Covid. What else??? Your contributions could help you win a $50 Chick fil a giftcard AND you get to choose whether Mr. Simmonds, Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Crawford, or Coach Chris Fowler will get a pie in the face!!! Buy your raffle ticket during advisement!

  7 Mindsets Heroes 

Jackson County High School would like to recognize Reece Wright and Ms. Michelle Pryor who were selected for the We Are Connected 7 Mindsets. We are Connected focuses on embracing everyone, maximizing positive relationships, building a dream team, and leading with value. Congratulations!

 Panther Players Production 

Jackson County High School Panther Players wowed the audience with their performance of "Junie B. Jones the Musical, Jr." on November 15th. The show, filled with heartwarming moments, impressive musical numbers, and hilarious comedy, left the audience in awe. Congratulations to the talented cast and crew for their outstanding production!

 JCSS Celebrates Student Success 

The Jackson County School System's November Board of Education meeting took place at East Jackson Comprehensive High School on November 13, where outstanding JCHS students were honored for their academic and athletic achievements. Moreover, the board also extended its congratulations to the November Rotary Students of the Month, Silas Gillespie, and his most influential teacher, Ms. Heather Hamrick.

  District 14 Honor Chorus 

Jackson County High School Chorus students attended District 14 Honor Chorus at Piedmont University on November 10-11! They had the opportunity to work with prestigious clinicians over the weekend, and performed an amazing concert the final day. We are so proud to have had them represent our Panther Nation at this event!

Students names: Abigail Lott, Georgia Lance, Lilian Connor, Alex Fife, Gracelyn Watkins, Lillian Rose Shreve, Montserrat Magno, Victoria Duarte Pirela, Olivia Freese, Sydney Hill, Ethan Day, and Charlie Hansen.

  Work-Based Learning Spotlight 

JCHS Senior, Harley Nix is working two blocks at LaQuinta (Braselton). She is planning to graduate in December. Through her networking in WBL, Harley is pursuing a career in law enforcement and connecting with positive mentors at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
