Some consider this "just for fun" while others may find it a useful tool for your classroom. I came across the Brilliant Maps website through a link to Medieval Trade Routes but found that the site includes so much more that just maps! Use the search feature at the top or bottom of the home page to explore. I searched for: trade, united states, economics, books, education, etc. Search for your interests!

Just a friendly reminder that if you previously used the Google Cloud way of accessing Google docs in Canvas (assignments, pages, etc), sometime within the next year those files will not work. Please switch all Google embedded things to the newer Google LTI 1.3 way of accessing them. Google LTI Assignments 1.3.

Turnitin's Draft Coach in Google Docs
You may not be aware but all FISD students, teachers, and staff have access to Turnitin's Draft Coach in Google Docs. This could be a beneficial tool for students during the writing process. It includes up to 3 similarity checks (compares against Turnitin's databases and the Internet) and unlimited opportunities to check citations and grammar. Feel free to share the handout with students!
