Create Transcripts for Your Google Drive Videos

If you upload videos to Google Drive, you can now have closed captions and a transcript automatically generated! Directions (Automatically generated captions)

Bonus: If you'd like to remove the extra spaces and timestamps from the transcript, download the file from YouTube then upload the file into ChatGPT and add "This is a captions file. Remove all timestamps from the file along with all extra spacing. Also fix the lack of capitalization and punctuation." It does a pretty decent job of cleaning it up!

FISD's Digital Learning Guidelines

Frisco ISD has updated Digital Learning Guidelines to promote mindful use of digital devices. We will discuss this and new Texas state laws regarding screen time at the Titans Learn Embedded Professional Learning meetings on Fri, Sept. 20.

AP Human Geography (Saunders, S Robbins, Wooten) recently created a choice board for students. For each product type, I found the best fit from the FISD Approved Apps list and linked to student instructions. Students will pick from:

Research Paper – Google Docs
Infographic – Canva, Adobe Express, Google Drawing
Fictional Story – Google Docs
Podcast – WeVideo
Quiz – Google Docs
Timeline – Canva, Adobe Express
