Tommy Thompson's Incubator students used ChatGPT to create an app design layout. Students were graded on their knowledge of design elements, not on if they could create the design themselves so this was a perfect fit for AI use.
Other AI image generators approved for FISD student use include:
Adobe Firefly (Select School Account --> Frisco Independent School District)
Part of Canva's Magic Studio
If you look closely, you'll notice that the text isn't actual words. Currently, AI does a terrible job with text in images. Just be aware!

If students are using a Canvas New Quiz to review or practice skills, there is an option to "enable build on last attempt". That means when students do their next attempt, they will only receive the questions the missed on their last attempt to attempt again.
Draftback is now a paid feature. As a possible replacement, check out the Revision History Chrome Extension. It doesn't include all of the reporting features of Draftback but it does have some pretty helpful information.
Reminder: Brisk's Inspect Writing is also an option but it does not include as much reporting information as Draftback or Revision History.
