As the end of the school year approaches, I'll share an item for all staff to take care of each week. If you take care of these items along the way, the End-of-Year Technology Checkout List will go much faster on the last days of school!
This week, focus on cleaning up Eduphoria (everything on the doc) & eSchool Reports (first section on the doc).
Reach out with questions!

School AI gives educators the time, data, and tools to design a better, more personalized classroom experience. Teachers can set up, monitor, and pause an AI space designed around your standards focused prompt.
Recently World History teachers (Coach Kim Pearce, Coach Travis Summerlin, Coach Travis Maner) set up School AI spaces for students to gain background information about WWII technologies.
Soon, Biology teachers (Farah Agha, Lisa Barton, Coach Zane Guy, Dr. Immanuel Joseph, Shannon Holliman) will use School AI at the start of their body systems unit for students to confirm previous knowledge and gain additional knowledge about the various systems.
So far we have learned that School AI does have a daily participant limit (it goes up over time) and that students need some guidance on how to phrase what they type to get better results. School AI does like to prompt/question users so it takes some getting used to managing that. If you have used School AI with your students, please reach out to let me know what tips/tricks you have learned!
If you are interested in trying out School AI with your students, feel free to reach out!
Instructure has enabled the new feature to allow teachers to track standards on Assignments in Canvas on their Mastery Connect Trackers.
Items of note:
All graded Canvas assignment types that display in Canvas Gradebook as assignments (including graded discussions, LTI assignments, etc.) are eligible to be aligned with a Mastery standard.
Canvas quizzes are not eligible for direct alignment to a Mastery standard. If your Canvas assignment contains a quiz, you must use Classic Quizzes for the assignment to populate in Mastery Connect.
Removing a student assignment score in Canvas will also delete the student score from the Mastery tracker. Changing a Canvas assignment score will also change the Mastery tracker score to reflect it.
