If you are traveling out of the country this summer, you will not be able to access your FISD accounts. This includes but is not limited to email, Google Drive, Canvas, portal, etc. If you need to receive emails this summer, you can set a rule to forward messages from your school email to a personal email account. Please plan accordingly.

To check voicemail off campus, call 469-633-6096. Enter the 5-digit extension, then your password.
I will check my email occasionally throughout the summer when not traveling. I might be able to respond to some emails throughout the summer. I will respond to all emails when I return on contract Mon, July 22.

To help everyone remember the different schedule on the last day of school, I created this lesson plan page that you can copy and paste from into your Blueprint/S2 course. Open the link, select the text, copy. Then go to your Canvas course, edit the lesson plan page, remove what's currently there for May 16/17, paste, edit to include your class's info, and save.

Canvas Updates This Summer
Canvas will be making a few updates this summer. The most impactful update that we currently know about is the phasing out Google Apps/Cloud Assignments. Moving forward, only Google Assignments LTI 1.3 will be available. If you previously used Google Cloud Assignments, they will need to be recreated as the newest Google Assignments LTI 1.3 assignments. Directions. Select the option to grade in SpeedGrader. Read more about updates.

Do NOT import ANYTHING into 2024-2025 S1 courses until you receive detailed directions in August. You will bring in the CHS Templates BEFORE importing anything else.
