Restore Chrome Tabs After Reboot

If you're like me and (at least partly) manage your work through your open tabs, you'll be happy to know that if you reboot your computer (like to process an update) and Chrome opens fresh, <Ctrl>+<Shift>+T restores your tabs to what you had before the reboot! This made me so happy after my computer's reboot this morning!

I knew it worked for recently closed tabs in the same window and for restoring an entire window full of tabs but restoring after a reboot was new to me! 🙂

Reminder: Add Your PHONE NUMBER to Your Google Authentication

If you haven't added your PHONE NUMBER to your Google 2-step authentication, you will be locked out of your account when you change your password. You will need to contact me to submit an Incident IQ ticket to request your account be re-opened so you can log back in with your new password and add your phone number. Directions to add phone number.

Adding your phone number as an authentication method does not mean adding your account onto your phone. It's only used to text you a code to verify who you are. If you have hesitated because you don't want to work from your phone, this does not add that access to your phone.

Help your friends out. Check and make sure they've added their phone numbers too. 🙃
