If you receive a phishing email, report it to Microsoft and delete. If you're unsure about an email, check the sender's email address and mouse-over (without clicking) any links in the message to see where they go. If they're suspicious, report and delete. If you're still unsure, reach out and I'll share my thoughts about it.

Did you know you can see score history in eSchool's TAC?
Right-click on a student's score and if there is a history to the score, "View Score History" will be an option.
To view which scores have a history, turn on the History/Retake indicator. Directions.
If there is not an AOL or PC on a certain day, delete that line from the lesson plan page.
If an AOL or PC is given, only the correct type (AOL or PC) should be listed, not both.
Update Navigation - remove extra stuff that showed up this semester. Directions
For S2 courses:
Add a buddy teacher as a Designer for emergency access to publish in your course
Add other staff with the appropriate level of rights
When using Aware tests, it is vital that you assign it to the correct S2 sections, purposefully not assigning to your Advisory section.
Data can show up under the wrong teacher if the teacher makes the test available to all of their sections (including Advisory) on the Administer screen. It is possible to change which teacher the student data for a particular assessment is associated with by following these instructions.
If you log in as the teacher you want the student to show under, go to Aware > Administer > Open Online test proctoring for that test > Select
the student > Make Available
Once you do this, it will put that student under that teacher.
While I am not aware of this happening at CHS, it has happened at other campuses. Reach out for support.
Ability to View Students Logged into Multiple Devices
A toast notification will inform teachers when students are logged into multiple devices. This appears when a class begins, when a new device connects, or when the teacher returns to the class (for example, after refreshing the page).
During an active class session, if a student is logged into multiple devices, teachers will see “stacked” tiles in the grid view along with a new device-selection icon. Selecting this icon opens a modal that allows teachers to choose which device they want to monitor. This device-selection modal is also accessible from the individual student modal under the Tabs section.
Teachers can switch between any of a student’s logged-in devices. When sharing a student’s screen, only the currently selected device will be shared; teachers must choose to monitor the alternative device if they want to share that device’s screen.
Student history is recorded for all devices the student is logged into, regardless of which device is being monitored.
The student flyout has been updated and now appears as a modal instead of a slide-out panel, which covers the entire screen.
Key benefits include:
More reliable monitoring when students are logged into multiple devices
Clear device-selection options to choose the correct screen
An improved full-screen student modal for better visibility of student details
Secondary DLC Matt Lotz created this Gemini Gem: Canvas Quiz CSV Generator to assist with generating quiz questions in a format that can be downloaded, converted to a QTI, then uploaded into Canvas. It generates multiple choice, true/false, and fill in the blank (one blank) questions. When using the Gemini Gem, you can instruct it to create specific question types from that list or upload already created questions for it to format for you.
