SchoolAI for Brainstorming Ideas

English 1 (Galinsky, Hogan, Jack) recently used a SchoolAI space to help students who were stuck on brainstorming ideas for their recent PBA (Project Based Assessment). The space was set up to prompt students with questions designed to get them thinking about possible debate topics and to brainstorm potential subtopics for further inquiry but not come up with the argumentative points for them. The teachers report that it worked well, even though a few students reported being unhappy that it didn’t tell them exactly what to do.

 SchoolAI is a safe online chatbot that only chats about the criteria that you program it to discuss. If students try to get off topic, it redirects them back on topic. If you are interested in exploring how SchoolAI could benefit your students, reach out!

Canvas Media

Did you know you can upload videos directly into Canvas? This is helpful if you intend to block YouTube through Classroom Relay and need students to access videos for your class.
