AP Calculus BC (YingYing Lu & Bri DelPozzo) created a Mastery Path module to use in August to assess where students are in their understanding on a couple of different topics. Students are then assigned a path of additional items to complete based on their scores for the initial assessments. Differentiation at its finest!
If you would like to investigate Mastery Paths, attend my session at Cultivate this summer or reach out!
5/8/24 Deploy Notes Includes a couple of updates to “Message Students Who” feature.
5/18/24 Release Notes Includes a new RCE tools called “Find and Replace”
As the end of the school year approaches, I'll share an item for all staff to take care of each week. If you take care of these items along the way, the End-of-Year Technology Checkout List will go much faster on the last days of school!
This week's focuses are Canvas & MasteryConnect! Here's an overview:
S2 courses
Student lose access at 7 PM on Fri, May 17
The Sem2 2024 Term archives at 12:00 AM (Fri 11:59 PM) on Sat, May 18 (moves to Past Enrollments)

2024-2025 courses
New 2024-2025 courses will be auto-generated in July/August
Do NOT import anything into these courses until you receive instructions when we return!
If your Blueprint is "clean", great! Continue updating it through the summer, if needed.
If your Blueprint is full of old, unused stuff, see my email from Tue 4/30 titled "Blueprint Users-- It's NEW Blueprint time!" about creating a new, clean Blueprint for next year.
In July/August, I'll send out a form requesting the URL for your Blueprint course and the S1/S2 courses to associate it with.
You can make a copy of your S2 course (contains both S1 and S2) to edit over the summer. This will be your "Summer Sandbox".
If you don't make a copy "Summer Sandbox" course, you can still copy from your S2 course (past enrollments) into next year's courses.
Work with your teammates, IC, Content Lead, and/or Digital Learning Coach to figure out the best way to get your current course content to your replacement.
