Do you have a student who can't seem to connect to Google or Kami assignments or can't upload files to Canvas so you have them email you their work instead? Please send students to the Library with their device for troubleshooting! If they can't get it to work for your class it's likely not working for other classes either. All students should be able to access and submit everything in Canvas correctly. If they're having trouble, let us help them out!
Please remember that we do NOT have loaner devices. If a student's BYOD isn't working and basic troubleshooting doesn't fix the issue (use and update Chrome, turn off VPNs, reboot), there are 2 desktop computers available for student use in the library. Students can also opt into the 1 for All program (complete Canvas course and pay fee in OnlineSchoolFees) to receive an FISD touchscreen Chromebook that is guaranteed to work. If students FISD touchscreen Chromebook is having issues, have them submit Device Repair ticket (student Portal) and bring it to the CHS Library to swap out.
If you haven't heard, Google is sunsetting Jamboard at the end next year. Here are some whiteboard options to try:
If the volume in your room is too quiet, please put in an Eduphoria HelpDesk ticket with details. As a reminder, if anything tech related isn't working as it should be... put in a HelpDesk ticket!
