As the end of the school year approaches, I'll share an item for all staff to take care of each week. If you take care of these items along the way, the End-of-Year Technology Checkout List will go much faster on the last days of school!
This week's focus is Google Drive! Focus on:
Cleaning up your My Drive (ignore "Shared with Me")
Addressing files owned by staff members who are leaving FISD
Making sure Shared Drives have at least one "Manager" (not "Content manager") who is remaining in FISD

Chromebooks opening Canvas in App/Tablet Mode
Chromebooks opening Canvas in App/Tablet Mode
It appears that a recent Chrome update is forcing Canvas to open in the app (tablet mode) for some users. So far, the only way we've found to fix it is to powerwash the Chromebook. That wipes out anything saved locally in the Chromebook Files. Please submit an Incident IQ ticket for your Chromebook (located under My Assets) if this is happening to you. Rachael can send you the directions to powerwash or she can stop by to take care of it for you. Please include your preference in the ticket and move anything that you want to keep from the File Downloads on the Chromebook to your Google Drive.

Get ready for an exciting Future Ready Bingo challenge, brought to you by your High School Digital Learning Coaches!
Bingo Card: We've curated a bingo card featuring a variety of future-ready ideas to implement with your students. Each square on the card represents a task aimed at fostering crucial skills for their future success.
Future Ready Skills: The bingo card is color-coded to align with the Future Ready Skills outlined in the Future Ready Learner Profile. This will help you identify and focus on specific skill areas as you complete each square.
Submit Your Completed Bingo Card: Once you've completed a row, column, or diagonal on the bingo card, submit your completed card to the Google Form provided in the Digital Learning Today newsletter. Don't forget to include your name and contact information for a chance to win some fantastic DLC prizes!
Multiple BINGOs: Aim to achieve as many BINGOs as you can before the end of the school year! The more BINGOs you achieve, the greater your chances of winning.
