As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting student data, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required to access eSchool Teacher Gradebook (TAC). See the email from Frisco ISD Cyber Security on Friday, Nov. 14 for more information.
Troubleshooting:
Sign out of eSchool's TAC
Logout of the portal
Clear "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" for "All Time" <Ctrl>+H
Login to the portal
Click the eSchool's Teacher Gradebook icon with the lock and log in
If that doesn't work, screen record yourself logging out of (1) TAC and (2) the portal, then signing back into (3) the portal and (4) eSchool's TAC. Submit an Incident IQ ticket for Software/Online Systems --> PowerSchool* eSchool TAC (Teacher Access Center). Describe the troubleshooting you’ve tried and attach the screen recording.
Helpful handouts:
If you are using SchoolAI classic student spaces, instead of sharing the launch code/link, add an assignment in Canvas with submission type: External Tool then select SchoolAI from the Find list. This puts the SchoolAI space in an easy place for students to find and attaches their real name, not one they type in, to their conversation. Also, if they close the chat and go back to the assignment later, they'll pick up where they left off! I feel confident in the functionality so try it out!
Notes:
Student spaces built in Classic SchoolAI (or SchoolAI 1.0) are available at this time.
Teachers still need to go to the SchoolAI launchpad to locate the launched space to view student interactions and SchoolAI insights.
If you would like to separate the list of student interactions and insights by class, create a separate assignment for each class. Not ideal, but it works.
