According to the CHS Staff Handbook, “Teams are tasked with communicating continual, non-weighted feedback to students and their families through various platforms like Canvas, MasteryConnect, AP Classroom, and eSchool” and “ Teachers must record at least one grade for Assessment of Learning (weighted grade) before the first IPR and make contact with parents about failing weighted grades before the end of the grading period. Teachers will record assessments in the gradebook by labeling standards and activity for clarification for students and parents. (i.e. Dividing Fractions Assessment 1 instead of Quiz 1B)”.
Please make sure that all Progress Checks and Assessments of Learning are entered and fully published in eSchool's TAC as they are scheduled and graded.
Reminder:
TAC = Teacher Access Center; AKA: your gradebook
HAC = Home Access Center; where students and parents log in
Half green circle = assignment (name and due date) shows up in HAC
Full green circle = assignment and score show up in HAC
The students' average seen in HAC will NOT match the average you see in TAC unless all assignments and scores are fully published!
As was mentioned in Mrs. Henderson's Titan Staff Update, this past weekend, Eduphoria's Aware testing made a change for student logins. Students no longer log in with their birthday as their password. They now use their regular FISD password. Also, their login screen is now yellow, like the staff login page, and no longer blue.
Username: Student ID Number
Password: Student FISD Password

It's a good idea to go to your Canvas course and modify these settings. Don't forget to click "Update Course Details" when finished.
Make changes in either your Blueprint or both the S1 and S2 courses. If using a Blueprint, check the box to sync course settings the next time you sync.
