FISD staff members have access to Microsoft's Copilot. Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that helps users with tasks, productivity, and creativity. It can generate content, answer questions, write code, summarize documents, and automate routine tasks.
To access Copilot, log into webmail, click the waffle in the top left, then select Microsoft 365 Copilot from the list.
Did you know that you can use <Launcher/Search>+V on a Chromebook or <Windows>+V on a PC to pull up the last several things copied onto your Clipboard? 🤯
If you haven't turned it on for your PC yet, <Windows>+V then Turn on clipboard history so it will work the next time you need it. For Chromebooks, it's already enabled. Try it out!

Mrs. Edwards Gomez is currently facilitating a video competition for students. Before launching, she reached out for resources to provide for students regarding the best platforms that are available for them to use. If you would like for students to create videos or other multimedia products, reach out for resources and support!
If you feel that the Classroom Relay Block List that you're using isn't quite doing the job, consider using an Allow List instead. Keep in mind that some sites use other websites to redirect content through so if you find it blocks too much you can either (1) switch back to Block Lists, or (2) investigate the location of the necessary sites that are being blocked. Reach out for support.
If creating an Allow List, reference this Allow List doc for possible additional sites to add to your whitelist.
Currently, it is recommended to block: zoom.com, remind.com, sportsyou.com and any other sites as you see fit
Several teachers have asked for the ability to pull scores from individual parts of a rubric graded assignment. Now you can! After grading with a rubric, in the Gradebook click the 3 dots next to the assignment name then Bulk Download Rubrics. It also downloads any comments added in the rubric during scoring.
After downloading, manipulate the columns as needed, then:
select the student names and matching scores that you want to grab
copy
click Grade Grabber Chrome extension and click the paste icon in Grade Grabber
To confirm scores were copied into Grade Grabber, close the Chrome extension and open it again. They're there!
Some teachers have already asked for the S2 lesson plan pages. They are now ready and available in Commons. Remember to import both Q3 & Q4 lesson plan pages.
If you're not ready, don't worry. I'll remind everyone again in December!
Also coming in December... info about moving along with S2 courses or switching to a Yearly in Canvas.
