If you use any generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, MagicSchool, Brisk, SchoolAI, etc), read the newly added "AI Large Language Model (LLM) Guidance" section on the Artificial Intelligence in Frisco ISD document. Use caution when using personally identifiable information about students and absolutely do NOT enter it into a free LLM.

Rubrics look a little different now. When adding additional criteria, mouse-over the area above the criteria to get a blue circle to add a new criteria.
Also, when adding a rubric to an assignment or new quiz, you can "Enable self assessment" which allows students to submit a self-assessment based on the rubric. This could lead to some very impactful conversations!

Students can NOT be added with "teacher" rights in Canvas. This includes teacher, non-editing teacher, TA, designer, and more. Doing so gives students Canvas rights that they cannot have.

Student Chromebooks
Student Chromebooks
All students need to check for updates on their Chromebook then restart. This will fix issues with Lightspeed's Classroom Relay, Eduphoria Aware testing, and many others.
If after updating Chrome, a student's Chromebook still does not show up in Classroom Relay, have them turn OFF bluetooth.
As of lunch today, Rachael reports that 15 CHS students have not paid the 1forAll Chromebook insurance fee. As soon as their parents pay the fee through OnlineSchoolFees.com, a Chromebook can be issued to them from B100. All students who have paid the fee have received their Chromebook.
Freshman - 5 students
Sophomores - 3 students
Juniors - 4 students
Seniors - 3 students
To see if a student has been issued a Chromebook, in IncidentIQ, click My Classes on the left to locate your students.
