Fourth Week

It was a great day to wear pajamas! We had SO much fun learning while being super comfy. We learned about our second Daily 5 Choice: Work on Writing. We practiced writing words we found around the classroom on whiteboards. 'Tooty Ta' by Jack Hartmann is one of our favorite brain breaks! We began discussing the season of fall and will focus on fall changes all week.

Today, we began working with the numbers 1-10. We sequenced, counted, and arranged them on our math trays. We continue to practice Work on Writing and Read to Self.

We had a Wacky Wednesday! We continue to practice Read to Self and Work on Writing. We created an acorn craft, and we will write about what their favorite things in fall are.

In math, we worked on a leaf number book. They had to count the number of leaves to the correct number. We watched the Campbellsport Varsity Dance Team perform a Glow-in-the-Dark routine to help celebrate Homecoming Week!

We ended the week showing our PAWS Pride! We continue to work on Read to Self and Work on Writing. They are doing a great job becoming independent workers during these choices!
