PBIS (PAWS Pride)

EES is a PBIS school. Positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to encourage good behavior.

With PBIS, kids learn about behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science. Students can earn PAWS Pride tickets and little PAWS for positive behavior. PAWS Pride tickets students earn individually and can be redeemed at the school store for things such as chalk, game time with the principal, bubbles, treats, reading the announcements, head of the lunch line, etc. Little PAWS students earn either individually, in small groups, or as a class. Each class keeps track of their little PAWS and once a class has 20 little PAWS, they earn a big PAW and classroom celebration.
