Fifth Week

This week is all about Halloween! This morning we created our very own paper Jack 'o' Lanterns. We traced, cut, and created faces with triangles, circles, and squares. We then counted to see how many we used. Today, we had our very first Star Student, Aubrey, share her poster, stuffed animal, and book. She did a great job! We also had a special book donated to our classroom from William. We had a great time reading our new book and using our special flashlight to help us see the pictures!

We had our second Kindergarten Parent Lunch. Thank you to everyone who came to spend recess and lunch times with your student! This means so much to them!

We had a great Halloween Day! We started off by graphing fruit snacks. The best part was that they got to eat them when they were done. We also had a special Halloween snack: Halloween shaped pretzels and cookies! We created a Candy Corn Guy to help us celebrate Halloween. In the afternoon, we had an assembly and Halloween parade where we were able to show off our costumes. Our class celebration went well! We had many treats and a great time! Thanks again for all the donations! It was a great day!

Today, we began creating our project for the shared kindergarten bulletin board. We are making Pilgrim Boys and Girls. To go along with the project, we will also write one thing we are thankful for. So far, they are looking very cute!
