Fifth Week

This week is all about apples! During snack, we tasted an apple treat, apple muffins, which we loved.

Today, we had a Cougar Showcase with Ms. Cole's Third Grade class.  We buddied up and toured each others classrooms to see how we have started the school year.  We will meet every month to come together with our buddy classroom for an activity.  In math, we practiced identifying and counting quantities by putting apple stickers on trees.  They loved using the stickers and organizing their quantities!

We started the day with a PAWS Pride assembly.  We had three friends earn a Positive Office Referral this month, and four friends earn a ROAR Award!  Way to show your PAWS Pride!

To end apple week, we taste tested red, yellow, and green apples and completed a sheet to show which was our favorite.  Jensen celebrated his birthday with his friends at the tall tables.  We made an apple core project and added labels to identify the different parts of an apple.
