We continue to learn about apples this week with a pumpkin activity sprinkled in! In math, we are working on patterns, so we painted a pumpkin with patterned stripes! We made an apple core project and added labels to identify the different parts of an apple. We celebrated Austin's birthday.
We continued to paint pumpkins with patterned stripes. We taste tested red, yellow, and green apples and made a graph to show which was our favorite. The majority of the class liked yellow apples the best!
We started the day with a PAWS Pride assembly. We had four friends earn a Positive Office Referral this month! Way to show your PAWS Pride! It was a beautiful, fall day to play outside. We continued to pattern paint pumpkins.
During literacy, we practiced reading together by using our 'My Reading and Writing' books. We use these books to practice many literacy skills and to read simple stories. We made a caramel apple craft. Tomorrow, we will add the sprinkle decorations!
Our caramel apples are decorated and are helping to decorate our classroom as we 'DIP INTO FALL'. Our painted pumpkins have created a 'PERFECTLY PATTERNED PATCH' that is decorating our classroom.
