Fourth Week

In math, we explored how shapes can fit together to make other shapes.  Our listening area got an upgrade...a rainbow rug!

We continued to explore how shapes can fit together to make other shapes, which was a good challenge for all!  In writing, we shared with a partner.  This allowed the students to talk about their writing, give each other feedback, and ask questions.  This week is all about gingerbread, so we had gingerbread men with our snack today.  We also got our last Monster piece, so we will be having a celebration soon!  Great work kindergarteners!

In, math we began classifying shapes.  We sorted them by color, size, and shape.  Abigail and Briell turned in their tickets to have a special lunch with a friend.  We created our very own Gingerbread Man.  We learned about another kindergarten friend, Briell.

This morning, we put the finishing touches on our Gingerbread Men.

We had a fun-filled day learning in our pajamas!  In math, we used bear counters to make the numbers 1-10 on a 10-Frame.  We also picked our next Monster incentive: an ice cream party!  We are now working on working quietly during independent work.
