This week we have been learning about reptiles and amphibians, so today we started creating an alligator craft. This morning we put our chrysalises in the butterfly pavilion. Now, we wait!
This afternoon we finished our alligator craft.
Today, we created another reptile craft, a sea turtle.
This morning we took the classroom outside! We worked to find partners of 7 and 8 by playing 'Spill the Beans' and using chalk to record on the blacktop. This was a great way to connect learning and enjoy the beautiful weather! In writing, we began our animal research, and they all did a great job using PebbleGo to listen, and write, about what their animal looks like, what it eats, and where it lives. We took advantage of the beautiful day and had an extra recess!
This morning, we were measured by Mrs. Wehner's second grade class to help them with a Number Corner project. Nadya had an early birthday celebration by having lunch with her friends at the café tables.
