This morning, we welcomed Cory Greenwood to Eden Elementary, and the theme was ACTive KINDness. We learned what makes us unique and how we can use it to be a hero for kindness. Brynlee brought in fruit kabobs as tail feathers on a turkey pumpkin! We learned about our first kindergarten friend, Mallory.
In our community circle with Mrs. Theis, we reviewed 'Tattling vs. Telling', and our strategies for solving problems before telling a teacher. These 'Tattle Bug' books came home about a month ago, so ask your child what they can do to help solve small problems around the classroom.
Exciting News! We have earned our first Big Paw! This means we will have a classroom celebration for making positive choices all around school. Way to go kindergarten! Maize and Henry won 'Bingo with a Friend' and had a great time playing!
