Fourth Week

In, math we began classifying shapes.  We sorted them by color, size, and shape.

It was a snow fort day!  They had a blast adding to their forts while it was snowing.  To end the day, we started our very own Gingerbread House Craft!

We went shopping at the school store today!  Thanks to Mrs. Rahn and Mrs. McCarty for setting everything up!  We learned about another kindergarten friend, Owen.  He even read his favorite book to the class and did an amazing job!

We continued to classify shapes by color, size, and shape.  For a challenge, we classified insects, and it was great to see how many ways we could sort them!  To end the day, we put the finishing touches on our Gingerbread House Craft!

In math, we completed a gingerbread addition around the room.  This got them moving and working with their friends.  We created our very own Gingerbread Man.  This week was all about gingerbread, so we had gingerbread men with our snack today.
