Second Week

This week we have been learning about reptiles and amphibians, so today we made an alligator craft.

Today, we had special guests, Campbellsport High School students come to read to us!  We love having visitors come read, and everyone did a great job!  To end the day, we created another reptile craft, a sea turtle.

We had a great Career/Opportunity Day!  They were able to attend six different sessions.  Some of the sessions included: slime, dog training, therapy dogs, vet, CPR, cheese factory, pigs, blender, bikes, fire department, Officer Weed, cookie decorating, and potting plants.  It was a fun-filled day for everyone! 

In writing, we started to share our animal research books.  They did an amazing job sharing and giving feedback to their classmates!  This was a big project, and everyone absolutely rocked it!  Three of our five butterflies have emerged from their chrysalises!  We got to watch two of them emerge during the school day!
