Fifth Week

This week we are learning about insects and butterflies.  Today, our caterpillars came, and we will be watching them as they change into butterflies.  We are SO excited and cannot wait to see how they change!  We continue to wait for all our pots to sprout.  Those that have sprouted are getting bigger each day!  To end the day, we started a ladybug craft.

We went shopping at the PAWS Pride store and finished our ladybugs!

Today, we created a butterfly and focused on making the wing design symmetrical.  They did a great job creating these beautiful butterflies!  Our caterpillars continue to grow each day!  We learned their only job is to eat and eat and eat!  To end the day, we enjoyed the beautiful weather and had an extra recess.

We had a PAWS Pride Assembly!

Today, we created our very own sailboat craft to help us 'Sail into Summer'.  To end the day, we created a hot air balloon craft because we are getting ready to 'Soar Into 1st Grade!'.
