Fourth Week

This week is all about apples!  We continued to practice our literacy workstations and math workplaces.  We went shopping at the school store with our PAWS Pride ticket.

We taste tested red, yellow, and green apples and made a graph to show which was our favorite.  The majority of the class liked yellow apples the best!  For writing, we tasted apple bread, which we loved, and wrote the ingredients we thought were in the bread.

During literacy, we practiced reading together by using our 'My Reading and Writing' books.  We use these books to practice many literacy skills and to read simple stories.  We made an apple core project and added labels to identify the different parts of an apple. 

Today, we created a caramel apple project.  Both apple projects decorate the hallway!
