First Week

We have been learning about lion and lamb weather during math and science time, so we made a lion and lamb craft.  Our lions and lambs are hanging from the classroom ceiling to help us remember the saying, 'March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.'  To end the day, we had a PAWS Pride Assembly, and Mrs. Rettler announced our 'One School One Book': Nim's Island.

We learned about another kindergarten friend, Audrey.

It was a beautiful, sunny day to play outside.  We created a kid with rainbow hair to go with a rainbow writingThey did an amazing job and came up with very creative ideas!

This morning we worked our way through stations that went with our 'One School, One Book', Nim's Island.  We learned about sea turtles and their babies, planted our very own food, carrot seeds, explored different types of seashells, and learned how to survive in the wild.  We are lucky because all of the school's seeds will be growing in our window!  We will be the first ones to notice if anything starts to grow!
