We practiced addition by finding picture cards around the room and writing the math sentences. They love activities where they can move around the room to do their learning! For lunch recess, we spent time at stations in the gym.
For lunch recess, we spent time at stations in the library. We learned about another kindergarten friend, Eliza.
To end the week, we painted, cut, and glued to make our very own penguin craft. In math, we used pencils and markers to measure tape lines. They did a great job working together to measure!
We also did an experiment to understand why baby penguins cannot swim but adult penguins can. We colored an adult penguin picture with a crayon and glued cotton balls to a baby penguin picture. We then sprayed both pictures with a spray bottle to see what would happen. We also went shopping at the school store!
