It was a busy start to the week! We watched a video showing Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter. We had a PAWS Pride assembly. We cut and glued pieces for a 'Love is...' Bear. Tomorrow, we will write what love means to us and add the finishing touches! To end the day, we went roller skating in gym. It was a blast!
New Valentine's workstations were introduced! We created a 'Bee' Mine Bumblebee craft for the hallway. We also created a Valentine Cookie! We need to add the finishing details, and they will be ready for the bulletin board.
We learned about another kindergarten friend, Myles.
In math, we used candy hearts to help us write math sentences. This was a great way to incorporate math and art with the Valentine's theme.
