Bear week is off to a great start! We are having SO much fun learning with our stuffed animal friends! In math, we went on a 'Shape Hunt' to identify shapes around the classroom and practice drawing them. We created a Scrapbook Bear. Tomorrow, we will add the maker decoration! We learned about another kindergarten friend, Brynlee.
Today, we created a Paddington project. They loved making this storybook character! It was a cold, sunny day to play in the fresh snow! They loved it!
To start the day, we got extra outside time, and it was a beautiful day to play in the snow! They had SO much fun! We also were able to have a morning snack and extra gym time! Thanks to Mrs. Rettler and the teachers who put this fun morning together! We have been learning about lion and lamb weather during math and science time, so we made a lion and lamb craft. Our lions and lambs are hanging from the classroom ceiling to help us remember the saying, 'March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.'
In math, we did gummy bear graphing. They loved this activity and got to eat them at the end! To celebrate the end of Bear Week, we had a picnic lunch in our classroom! It was great to have lunch with our stuffies!
