Second Week

Our caterpillars really grew over the weekend, and we are hoping to see them in chrysalises later this week!  In writing, we shared our animal research books.  They did an amazing job sharing and giving feedback to their classmates!  This was a big project, and everyone absolutely rocked it!

We had a great Career/Opportunity Day!  They were able to attend six different sessions.  Some of the sessions included: fitness, vet, hobby farm, cheese factory, pigs, bikes, fire department, Deputy Behm and Chief Dowland, cookie decorating, canvas painting, nail painting, and potting plants.  It was a fun-filled day for everyone! 

This afternoon we put our chrysalises in the butterfly pavilion.  Now, we wait!

To end the week, we had a few fun activities planned!  We were able to have extra recess on this beautiful day, an extra snack and color in the cafeteria, and games and toys in the library.  We patiently wait for our marigolds to bloom!  They are getting stronger and taller everyday!
