This week is all about pumpkins with a little Halloween sprinkled in! In math, we have been exploring patterns. For the shared kindergarten bulletin board, we created pumpkins with an AB paint pattern. They turned out great!
We had a PAWS Pride Assembly in the gym. We made our very own Kindergarten Pumpkin Patch! They were able to decide many ways to decorate their pumpkin. They turned out great!
For writing, we tasted pumpkin bread, which we loved, and wrote the ingredients we thought were in the bread.
In literacy, we practiced reading the lowercase alphabet to a friend. We continued to practice our literacy workstations. They are doing a great job working independently and with friends! In math, we learned about a new workplace: pattern making and recording. They did a great job! We completed a math activity around the room where they had to find 10-frames and record them. They loved this learning version of 'I Spy'!
