We were SO excited to be back today! We started the morning by having a PAWS Pride assembly and refreshing the PAWS Pride rules. We talked about New Year's Resolutions/Goals, and each kindergartener wrote how they were going to 'Knock Your Socks' off this year. They were SO excited to write about the amazing things they want to accomplish this year! Check them out below! We finished our 'Winter Kid' craft and wrote about what we like to do in winter.
Today, we created a snowman snow globe craft. Tomorrow, we will add detail to the snowman and clear, glitter snow for decoration!
In math, we have built a number pathway (0-10) and have practiced counting forward and backwards. Today, we practiced identfiying missing numbers on the pathway.
We painted mittens, and they join our snowmen snow globes on our classroom bulletin board!
Della celebrated her 1/2 birthday with her friends at the black tables. We read Sneezy the Snowman and discussed things that snowmen should not do if they do not want to melt. We created our very own snowman and wrote down our ideas. They will be on display on the shared kindergarten bulletin board!
