This week is all about apples! It was a great day to wear pajamas! We had SO much fun learning while being super comfy. We enjoyed two indoor recesses. They practiced reading 'Welcome to Our School', a big book that we have been using for awhile. They did a great job! We created a caramel apple project.
We had a Wacky Wednesday! We practiced our workstation rotations, which included our newest workstation: Listening. They are doing a great job learning with friends and love having the ability to choose! We made an apple core project and added labels to identify the different parts of an apple.
In math, we created an apple tree by tracing our hands and using it for the trunk and branches. They had to put 10 apples on their tree using the colors red, green, and yellow. We continued to practice our workstation rotations. We taste tested red, yellow, and green apples and made a graph to show which was our favorite. The majority of the class liked yellow apples the best! To end the day, we practiced logging in to the Chromebooks.
For writing, we tasted apple bread, which we loved, and wrote the ingredients we thought were in the bread. To end the day, we watched the Campbellsport High School Homecoming parade. We had lots of fun and got lots of candy!
