Second Week
Today, we learned about another kindergarten friend, Gus.
We had quite a busy day! In math, we used candy hearts to help us make a math sentence. They absolutely loved this activity and did a great job. In writing, we began sharing our animal research books. Each kindergartener wrote about a different animal, and they are doing a great job sharing! To end the day, we made our Valentine's Day bags. I provided the students with many different things, and they used their own creativity to create their bags. Make sure to check them out when they come home tomorrow!
Velociraptor
Hyenas
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Hammerhead Shark
Black Widow
Iguanodon
Tarantulas
Wolf Spider
Diplodocus
Giant Panda
We had a great Valentine's Day! In math, we graphed candy hearts and even got to eat them! In writing, we finished sharing our animal books. They all turned out great! To end our day, we had our Valentine's Celebration. We had a lot of fun eating treats and passing out Valentine's. Thank you to everyone for helping with our celebration!
Clown Fish
Cats
Narwhal
Nurse Shark
Polar Bear
Cheetah
We had a fun end to the week! In math, we created our 100th Day Snack, and we will enjoy it on Tuesday! They had a great time counting out 10 of everything. We began to create a bear craft, Corduroy, and they will be up for Bear Night. It was too cold to go outside, but they had a great time playing inside! In gym, Mrs. Salm had the kids playing a balloon stomp game, and they had such a great time with it! I loved watching them trying to protect their balloons and stomp others.
