Today, I introduced a new Work on Writing choice. The students were able to 'Write the Room'. They were able to search for Christmas words and write them on their list. They were so excited and did a great job! We also learned about another kindergarten friend, Savannah.
We had a PAWS Pride Assembly today! It was filled with many fun activities. We learned that Porter is the November Kindergarten Student of the Month. Great Work, Porter! Arizona and Tanner were recognized for a Principal's Award for earning a Positive Office Referral. Arizona also used her lunch ticket to eat with three of her friends at the black tables. Great Work! We also had Will dressed-up as the Cougar Mascot at today's assembly. It was a great day to play outside! The kindergartners are having a blast playing in the snow. To end our day, we made a Rudolph craft.
Today, we completed our Rudolph craft by painting on snow. We used Q-tips to paint, and they had a blast! They will be on display in the hallway, so make sure to take a look on the night of the Christmas Concert.
We had a very exciting day! We had a great Pajama Party and were able to do many fun activities with our stuffed animals. St. Nick also visited our classroom leaving us a little goodie bag! We also had a special guest reader. Gwen spent her PAWS Pride tickets to read to her sister, Olivia.
We had a great time reading with our Second Grade Buddies. Both Second Graders and Kindergarteners love this time to share their books and stories about their lives.
