First Week

Today, we began working with 10-sticks and 1-cubes to create the numbers 11-20. They did great noticing the patterns as we were building. Liam celebrated his half birthday with his friends by eating lunch at the café tables. We also made our shared kindergarten bulletin board craft. We created hibernating bears.

We had our Virtual PAWS Pride Assembly this morning and learned about kindness. Each classroom gets to theme their door around kindness. Check out ours below! 'We are the 'KIND'ergarteners!'

Today, we created Valentine's Mailboxes and wrote about things we loved. They did a great job! Max and Mitchell enjoyed root beer floats in the cafeteria. They earned them from our monthly tracker prizes.

Jonny enjoyed his donut in the classroom that he earned from our PAWS Pride Trackers. We had fun sledding at recess. (I even joined them!) Molly earned a Positive Office Referral and ate lunch at the café tables with her friends. We earned a Big PAW which means we get to choose a whole class celebration! They are very excited and definitely deserve it!

Isabel celebrated her birthday at the café tables with her friends. We learned about another kindergarten friend, Anthony.
