First Week
We are off to a great first week of kindergarten! The students had a great time getting to know our classroom and their new friends! We spent much time learning the rules and routines of school and created art projects to help us remember. Check it out!
We worked hard to color and cut our 1st Day Ribbons and a 'Welcome to Kindergarten' coloring sheet. They did a great job!
We learned about using 'Marshmallow Toes' when walking in school. We made a craft to help us remember to always use our 'Marshmallow Toes'! Your student brought home the 'Marshmallow Toes' book. Read it with them and ask them to show you how they use their 'Marshmallow Toes'!
We learned about good and poor choices in the cafeteria. We made a craft and completed a sort to help us remember!
The kindergarten classes read 'The Gingerbread Man' and made our very own 'Gingerbread Man'. Unfortunately, just like the story, he jumped out of the oven and began to run through school! We went on a Gingerbread Hunt to try and find him but did not. He did leave us a tasty gingerbread snack in our classroom, which we all loved. After snack, we wrote about what we think happened to the Gingerbread Man.
