This week is all about pumpkins with a little Halloween sprinkled in! For writing, we tasted pumpkin bread, which we loved, and wrote the ingredients we thought were in the bread. We had indoor recess, and they had a blast playing with each other. We made our very own Kindergarten Pumpkin Patch! They were able to decide many ways to decorate their pumpkin. They turned out great!
Today, we worked on matching capital and lowercase letters using apples and pumpkins. Cash had a caramel sundae, which he earned with his PAWS Pride tracker!
Today, we taste tested pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting, and they were delicious. They are loving learning about pumpkins and then getting to try pumpkin foods!
We had computer lab in the classroom, and they did a great job of logging in and navigating the Chromebooks. They LOVE having the freedom to explore and play games. To end the day, we began to create a Halloween Monster.
We finished our Halloween Monsters, and they are now decorating the bulletin board in our classroom. In gym, they had fun climbing the rock wall, rope swing, and cargo net. To end the day, we made a Halloween Bat, and they will join our monsters! Both projects turned out great, and they LOVED making them!
