Week 4 & 5
WALT - Write a speech using our prior experience to guide us
You have all written and delivered your first speech, well done! It is time for round two.
Instructions
1 - Select a speech topic. You can make your own or pick one from list to your right
2 - Research and write a speech about that topic
3 - Learn and rehearse your speech
4 - Deliver your speech in front of your class (week 5)
Speech success criteria
1 - Between 2 - 3 minutes long
2 - Starts with either a question, personal story or a powerful statement
3 - Eye contact with audience when speech is delivered
4 - Speech is delivered confidently and with expression
5 - Speech is memorised

Instructions
1 - Work through reflection exercise with Mr Wiseman
2 - Record your responses in reflection doc

4 - Create your own speech reflection video using your reflection doc to guide you.

WALT - Finalise and deliver a speech
Last term you started writing your first speech. This week you are going to finish and deliver that speech to you class
Instructions
1 - Complete the speech you started writing last term
2 - Check that your speech matches the success criteria
3 - Make cue cards if this will help you remember it
4 - Find a quiet space and rehearse your speech
5 - Practise your speech on a friend
6 - Deliver your speech to your class WEDNESDAY

1 - Stand in front of class and deliver a speech
2 - Between 1 - 3 minutes long
3 - Starts with either a question, personal story or a powerful statement
4 - Eye contact with audience when speech is delivered
5 - Speech is delivered with a confident and clear voice
