WALT - Use interesting language in our writing

Your mission

Select a well known fairy tale. Use the same characters and write an alternative (different) plot to the story much like Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes.

Try to use the all these words in your writing:

coincidence, observed, blurted, discreetly, ponder

In order to use the words effectively you will need to know what they mean.

Prizes will be given to the people who have effectively used these words in their finished writing.

Use your imagination.

1) Choose a topic:

2) Open RECOUNT WRITING presentation

3) Follow checklist and write your recount

4) Check your draft with a buddy

5) Share draft with your teacher

6) Publish final copy to your blog

7) Add link to TURN IN sheet
